Bharatiya Darshan ki Rooprekha

In the framework of the presented work Indian philosophy, comparative and critical discussion of various subjects has been done in clear and comprehensible language with new material.

In this, various stages of the philosophical development of Rigveda – Vedic polytheism, Vedic monotheism, Vedic monotheism, and the central concepts of Upanishad philosophy – Bahya, Atman, Brahman and the identity of the soul, Maya, and Moksha have been explained in detail. Gyan-Yoga, Bhakti-Yoga, and Karma-Yoga of Gita have been properly highlighted. Apart from this, there is a lot of material on various philosophies like Charvaka, Buddhism, Jainism, Vaisheshika, Sankhya, Yoga, Mimamsa, etc.

In Nyaya Darshana, an all-around explanation of 'types of knowledge and analysis of prima and drama and 'extent' has been given. Shankara's Advaita Vedanta and Ramanuja's Vishishtadvaita Darshana contain new perspectives.
