Sanskrit is a very rich language with a large number of roots and primary and secondary derivatives. Because of this, it is easy to express accurately any idea in this tongue. Indeed our administrative and technical terms can be derived from Sanskrit. Before the integration of the princely states into the Indian Union there was at least one state, the state of Baroda, which successfully used Sanskrit words for administrative purposes.
The need for a knowledge of the classics has been recognized by modern educationists in the West, despite the emphasis laid there on science and social studies.
